Whether you celebrate Chinese New Year or not, it’s hard to avoid the buzz and excitement of it all. As it’s part of my husband’s culture, we usually join in the festivities wherever we are. This year we headed into London’s Chinatown and, along with fellow revellers, welcomed in 2012…again!

Chinese New Year starts with the new moon on the first day of the new year and ends with a lantern festival on the full moon 15 days later
Beautiful red lanterns are hung everywhere to bring good luck for the year
And lions perform traditional dances to scare away ghosts and evil spirits
We ended our 2012 celebrations with a delicious meal at Golden Dragon
WOW … love it !!!
Thank you!
What a celebration!
Thanks Nenskei!
